Machan at the edge of the lake....there are many strategically placed machans at the lake bank which are ideally positioned to observe the animals when they come to quench their thirst. I would have liked to spend a night up there but it was against the rules . Also there were lots of red and black ants and many other insects too......

This lake at kodasa is just adjacent to the rest house......its absolutely stunning and even in the fag end of summer the lake had ample water . A part of the lake bed was dry and we could spot pug marks of many animals in the soft ground.The lake also attracted many water birds . We soptted many varieties of ducks and storks although we couldnot identify the species as none of us is an ornithologist ( although i am intrested in birds of another kind).
