DAY 2 MONASTARIES

Thikesy monastery.
Ladakh is a land of monastaries and passses.....many of these monastaries are really ancient .....buddhism is a way of life amongst ladakhi people maybe because most of the ladakhis are originally form tibet....most of the monastaries here practice mystical buddhism...this is totally different from the buddhism we come across in the plains.....sometimes i had the feling that there is uncanny resemblance between the buddhist dieties and hindu gods and godesses.......
