THE RISING STORM

DURING THE DESCENT WE RAN HEADLONG INTO A STORM.

CHILLY BREEZE, RAIN , SNOW AND SOME HAIL WERE ASSULTING US FROM THE FRONT.....THE COLD RAIN AND HAIL WERE LIKE A THOUSAND NEEDLES PIERCING THE EXPOSED PARTS OF THE FACE.

THE RIDGE OF THE TENTA WATERFALL HAD BECOME ONE LARGE AND CONTINUOUSLY SLIPPERY ROLLERCOASTER ROUTE.

THE SERI PLATEAU HAD BEEN TRANSFORMED INTO A MIRE. THE ENTIRE PLACE WAS BOGGY AND SWAMPY. THERE WAS NO DRY LAND AVAILABLE .SO WE TREKKED IN ANKLE DEEP SOFT MUD . WE ALSO AVOIDED REMOVUNG OUR SHOES WHLIF CROSSING THE RIVER.......BUT THIS WAS AN REALLY BAD IDEA.....AS SOON AS OUR SHOES AND SOCKS GOT WET WE STARTED GETTING CHILLY AND COLD. THE WET SOCS WERE ACTING AS A HEAT DRAIN FOR OUR BODIES. Posted by Picasa
